Mano was known for having some of the best assets
in the worst countries. The country risk, however, has all but
disappeared. Mano has seen success after signing up to a number of joint
ventures with major mining companies including BHP Billiton and Golden
Star in Sierra Leone and Trans Hex in Liberia. Mano also found the only
known kimberlites in Liberia.

copper and gold in northern Sweden where there is no mining royalty and
excellent infrastructure. The company has announced drill ready
exploration targets and encouraging results in Northern Sweden which are
attracting the attentions of the majors. In recent announcements, the
company has indicated concentrations of uranium in its drill cores;
samples have been despatched for assay and investors eagerly await these
results. |

had gone into receivership. Pubs 'n' Bars continues to outperform its
larger peers in both sales and profits, despite the toughest trading in
recent times across the sector. |

| AIM listed property investment company,
Keyworld Investments have a novel approach to investing in property. To
fund acquisitions, it offers a bond to the public for a minimum purchase
price of £10,000 which is repaid as a dividend on the bond known as
"holiday points". For a £10,000 investment, the bond holder could
receive free holiday accommodation around the globe for a month; the
dividend is also tax free making it even more attractive. After a thirty
year period, the original investment is repaid, though the holder could
have received holiday accommodation worth over £100,000. |

| Griffin Mining has built its first mine
in China and expects to be in production of zinc in the very near future
having successfully raised just under £10m early last year. The zinc
mine being constructed, north of Beijing, is the result of years of hard
work by Griffin which, coincidentally, was the first western company to
receive a mining licence in China under its own merit. |
